Food & Wine pairings

Jabajak’s Amanda Stuart-Robson pairs white and rosé sparkling wines from her 2014 harvest with locally made Pant Mawr brie and generous dollops of home-made gooseberry and sweet elderflower chutney.

If you are interested in eating delicious Welsh food as well as drinking lovely Welsh wine then watch this food pairing from Colin and Charlotte Bennett, of Gwinllan Conwy Vineyard. It will certainly get you salivating. Colin and Charlotte use lots of Welsh produce including Welsh spring lamb from their local butchers (Meat on the Corner) and Halen Môn sea salt in their cooking demo. This velvety delicate dish works beautifully with the refreshing Conwy Rondo.

Ryan Davies of Llanerch Vineyard and Head Chef Andy Aston with some delicious wine pairings to accompany two dishes.
Chef’s summery Tandoori Monkfish, vegetable and lentil curry and a locally sourced Porthcawl Seabass with cockles & mussels with a white wine & garlic cream.
Andy champions using the very best seasonal and sustainable produce, usually from the local area and Ryan perfectly pairs two Llanerch wines to these dishes.
